The Jockey Wheel Helper was designed to help move your caravan or trailer accross sand or grass even gravel and paving with great ease, there has also been additions to the Jockey Wheel Helper namely:
Tandem Jockey Wheel Helper for those jockey wheels that has two rubber wheels.
The jockey Wheel Replacer was designed to help with the removable jockey wheel normally it is for the 3 wheel jockey wheels, we have now even developed a upgrade kit for your old jockey wheel, this however is semi permanent, where the helpers are temporary.
The Jockey Wheel What is the problem with a Jockey Wheel
Most caravaners don’t pay much attention to their jockey wheel, it does what it does. You use it just before you hitch up to go camping and again when you reach the campsite to position the caravan, and that is when you get into trouble.
Manoeuvering your caravan applies lateral force to your jockey wheel which, if the wheel is facing the opposite direction to where you are moving it, can damage the rubber of the jockey wheel and even bend the jockey wheel pipe.
If your caravan has movers the problem just becomes worse because the movers exert force onto the jockey wheel, and if there is an obsticle in the way of the jockey wheel the movers just carry on pushing, resulting in a bent jockey wheel.
How to use the Jockey Wheel Helper
Before You Buy !!
Measure the hole at the bottom of the jockey wheel to determine which Jockey Wheel helper to purchase.
24mm Old caravan and trailers
34mm Standard on most Newer caravans.
44mm More for the offroad caravans.
Tips Do's and Dont's
- Ensure the tyre pressure is 0.8bar.
- The rubber wheel rests firmly on the axle and v plate.
- Your existing jockey wheel rotates freeely when off the ground.
- If you have movers fitted to your caravan do not change direction in 90deg increments, rather snake along at 45deg increments
- DO NOT :Over inflate tyres, pressure is 0.8bar.
- DO NOT :Leave the caravan with full weight on the Jockey Wheel Helper.
- DO NOT :Leave the Jockey Wheel helper on the caravan when not in use.
- If you have movers fitted to your caravan make sure there is enough clearance under the A-frame for the wheels to rotate freely over 360 deg.
- With movers snake along at 45 deg and do not turn at 90 deg angle.
- DO NOT : Fit the Jockey Wheel Helper the wrong way, ensure the wheel rests on the shaft.

Please note that the tyre pattern and design might change as stock is imported from China and we have no influence over what tread pattern is sent.
Also note that all wheel have plastic bushes.

Pneumatic or Solid rubber ?
Pneumatic wheels perform much better that solid ones. Their superior performance is particularly the case on loose surfaces such as gravel, sand and thick grass since they ride over the rough surface better.
